  • Job Co-ordinator
    Supports workers registered with the agency to establish and maintain careers in open employment utilising the job support procedures outlined in the Finding a Job, Keeping a Job manual. Download PDF

 

  • Employer Consultant
    Assists job seekers registered with the agency to locate and secure suitable jobs and promotes the services provided by the agency to potential employers. Download PDF

 

  • SWoT Program Co-ordinator
    Co-ordinates the SWoT program, assists school students with disabilities to undertake work experience in industry areas that offer future employment opportunities, liaise with school support staff to enhance work experience placements for students and negotiate employment outcomes with host employers.   • National Disability Co-ordination Officer
    Co-ordinates the NDCO program in the allocated region in accordance with the Department of Education (DOE – Federal) Program Guidelines, Funding Contract and Schedule. Download PDF

 

  • Customer Relations Advisor
    Assists the Team Leader, Customer Relations to promote EDGE Employment Solutions as a quality disability open employment service and attracts a steady flow of new job seekers to the agency. Download PDF

 

  • Consumer Liaison Officer
    Provides marketing and administrative support to the job search team. Download PDF

 

  • Team Leader – Job Support
    Assists and leads a small team of job co-ordinators, who provide on-the-job training and support to all job seekers who have successfully gained paid employment. Download PDF

EDGE has a long-standing commitment to empowering the next generation of occupational therapists with the practical skills and experience needed to succeed.

 

McCusker Centre for Citizenship

The McCusker Centre for Citizenship at UWA (established in October 2015) is the first of its kind in Australia, modelled on the Haas Centre for Public Service at Stanford University. The Centre aims to foster the engagement of students in a lifelong involvement and contribution to the community.

The Centre works on:

  • Creating opportunities for students to contribute to the work of not for profit organisations in WA
  • Expand the involvement of not for profit organisations in the University through service learning and research
  • Provide leadership and mentoring programs in partnership with the not for profit sector
  • Facilitate collaboration, discussion and practical solutions to contemporary challenges by engaging students, academics, alumni, not for profit (NFP) organisations and business
