Big day out

Training and courses are important assets when it comes to developing a proper understanding of employment and furthering your employability- but being able to go to a worksite, take a tour, speak with managers and get a feel of a workplace, well…. that’s something special.

Our Project Employment students were able to do just that recently as part of their Term 3 site visits. Our students gained great insight into several different industries with some really informative and accommodating employers.

We were lucky enough to visit The Regal Theatre, Vibe Hotel Subiaco Perth, Good Sammy, Quest Apartment Hotels, Officeworks and Kmart to gain a better understanding of their working environment and day-to-day activities.

These students enjoyed exploring a broad range of industries and possible future careers. The students saw potential positions from receptionists to cleaners to stage production, customer service, marketing and many more.
