John XXIII and Edge working together for over 20 years

At Edge we really do provide on-going support for as long as you need. Edge has been supporting Kylie for 32 years, and 20 of those wonderful years, Kylie has maintained employment at John XXIII College! Supporting people with disability to secure and maintain fulfilling employment is why we exist, and we couldn’t be prouder or happier about Kylie’s success!

Regardless of people’s abilities, it is a huge achievement to maintain employment with one Employer for 20 years. We proudly celebrated Kylie and another one of our Client’s David receiving their 20 year service awards earlier this year.

According to the Department of Education, the average job tenure in Australia is just 3 years and 4 months! In fact, people with disability often stay in their jobs longer than other Employees.

Without building a strong partnership with a supportive Employer like John XXIII, access to ongoing support from dedicated Job Coaches like Amy and the hard-working attitudes of both David and Kylie, this would not have been possible!
