Employer Appreciation Night 2020

It was wonderful to be able to celebrate the International Day of People with Disability for 2020 with some of our most valued Employers, as well as some new faces. It was the perfect time to take a moment to reflect on the vital role that Employers play in changing the lives of People with Disability through employment.

Some of the highlights included a very special welcome to country by Sharon Wood-Kenney and an amazing performance by the talented kids from South Ballajura Education Support Centre. This was followed by a heart-felt and insightful interview with marine biologist Rebecca, one of Edge’s clients who is employed by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.

Thank you once again to all those who attended. Whether you are a long-time partner of Edge, or just beginning your journey into this space, your interest and participation truly are helping us to create a much-needed higher level of awareness and understanding.
