Flying high

We don’t just provide services to find employment for people with disability, we also assist in career development and non-paid opportunities. One of these opportunities was provided for Tegan in the form of an industry visit to gain a better understanding of different workplaces and job positions.

NDIS Employment Support Coach Janette (pictured right) and Edge client Tegan (pictured middle) joined Community Logistics Officer Karrie Power for an industry visit at the West Coast Eagles Headquarters at Mineral Resource Park.

With approximately 120 staff here in Perth, they were treated to a behind the scenes tour to discuss the different employment areas with varying job roles in the elite sporting industry.

It was exciting to see behind closed doors and gain a better understanding of just how vital communication is within their industry.

A big thanks to the West Coast Eagles, and we are looking forward to more site visits in the future.
